Want to win the chance to get one on one advice on your music career? Look no further, because I am going to manage a band or artist. More importantly, I’m going to manage one of you.

I want to put my money where my mouth is – I want to get hands on and help one of you guys, and see how far we can take it. Plus, I’m going to document it along the way to help other musicians. And this will be no mere challenge video, this will be a full on documentary.

I’ve already started talking to other managers about this, and I’ve begun filming the process already. So what’s the next step? Finding a band! And that’s where you come in.

Here’s how it’s going to work. Firstly, this is going to be a pretty long process – probably 6 to 12 months, so you’ve got to be in it for the long haul. Secondly, although I’m in the UK, I’m open to choosing a band or artist from anywhere – as long as you’re willing to put in the effort and deal with the distance and time difference.

I’m looking for an artist or a band, and it has to be original music – no covers acts I’m afraid. You can be any level, any age, any style, and, like I said, anywhere in the world.  What I am looking for is enthusiasm, passion, and willingness to put the time and effort in. In return, I’ll give you my time and effort, my expertise, and my contacts.

So how do you get involved?

1. Email competition@damiankeyes.com. For the sake of me and my team who’ll be sorting through the emails, please don’t make them too long!

2. In your email, include a link to a one minute YouTube video. The video should be uploaded with the title ‘Damian Keyes Management Audition’, and in it you need to tell me who you are, where you’re from and why I should choose you.

3. In the video, and in the email, you need to include links to your socials and your music. Feel free to be as creative as you like with your video! One stipulation – if you’re a band, every single member needs to be in the video together.

I am not looking for the best of the best, I am looking for people who can problem solve, and who are going to work hard, sacrifice, and make things happen.

Lastly, just a tip – do yourself a favour and make sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channels and following me on social media, because I will be checking!

The deadline to upload your video and send your email is Monday 2nd December. And if you want to get involved in any other capacity – whether you’re a manager, a label, a social media guru – please feel free to reach out if you can offer a helping hand.

I’m so ridiculously excited about this project, and ready to get hands on and help one of you guys out. Good luck with your videos, and I look forward to watching them all soon!
